Fulgenzio Coppola, known to most of his clients as "Vinnie" was born and raised in Italy. Fulgenzio came to this country when he was in his teens. He attended Mansfield Beauty Academy in Boston, MA were he graduated in 1974. He has been a hair designer for the past 39 years. He has owned and operated many salons throughout Boston and Newton. He worked on Newbury Street in Boston for over 25 years. When he began his career, he worked as a designer for BoJack LTD. Fulgenzio spent his week working throughout the Boston area, Bromfield Street in downtown Boston, Newbury Street, Government Center and Back Bay. Fulgenzio also taught hair design at the BoJack Academy for Hair for 10 years. He had been a guest teacher at Robert Richard Hair school located in Waltham, MA and would later teach at the Blaine Hair School also located in Waltham and Boston, MA.

He has traveled the world for many years attending classes throughout Europe and keeping up with the latest in hair design. Fulgenzio has created a long list of celebrity clients over the years, to name a few, Tom Bergeron of "Dancing with the Stars" was a regular client. Joan Bennett Kennedy, the ex-wife of Sen. Edward Kennedy. Cam Neely of the Boston Bruins, Susan Wornick of Channel 5 News in Boston. Natalie Jacobson former Boston Newscaster. Joe Perry of Areosmith, Sibby Hashian from the band Boston, Richard "Magic Dick" Salwitz and Peter Wolff members of the J. Geils Band, and many more. Fulgenzio has also been a guest on Kiss 108's "Matty in the Morning" several times, where he cut hair in the studio. His client was Sue Tabb, who was part of the Matty show team. He has also been featured on the former Oldies 103.3 radio station with Paula Street were he cut hair for contest winners.

Since 1987, he has operated his own business Fulgenzio Coppola Image Design Salon, which was located on Needham Street in Newton, MA. for ten years. He eventually moved to his permanent location at 731 Washington Street in Newton, MA. After 15 years in this location, he semi-retired. Now after 39+ years he has announced his retirement (taking Saturday appointments and appointments on request) he is now passing the reins to the second generation of hair designers, his daughter Dominique Earle-Coppola who recently joined him.

I use this quality to bring out the natural beauty that a person has inside. By using color, I bring out the person's natural skin tones, as well as enhancing on their natural and physical beauty. I view each client as my own individual canvas and turn them into a masterpiece. When it comes to building a clients image, there is no room for error. I myself will not settle for anything less then the best. I demand nothing but the very best of myself and I pride myself on giving my clientele nothing but BEST.

Fashion and beauty are my life and I am constantly changing up my style to keep up with the latest trends. I would never give my client something that I myself would not wear. I understand that having a fashion forward and up to date stylist is crucial in the presentation of oneself and ones image. In today's world we need to stand out, to be our own brand, to promote ourselves, not just be like everyone else. Being your own person, with your own style is what sets you apart from the rest of the world, so you need to be unique. But what is different about me, is that I just do not give my clients their own unique look, I give them a whole new package, they have their own unique brand, their own unique sense of style. I give them and design them their own unique image.
